Elisa is a certified First Aid and CPR Instructor/Examiner with the Lifesaving Society. She discovered her passion for teaching while working as a Teaching Assistant during her Graduate studies at York University. She is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology and has vast work experience in fitness, health, dance and education. She has worked as a Kinesiologist in a physical rehabilitation setting and also designed and led exercise programs for cardiac and stroke rehabilitation patients. In 2009, she joined the faculty at Humber College and has taught in both the Fitness and Health Promotion and Massage Therapy programs.
After the birth of her first child in 2010, Elisa developed a keen interest in child safety. She believes that all parents and caregivers should be prepared for an emergency.
